Thanks for the clip of Beverly Sills, Tanta. I'm only in my 30's so didn't have the pleasure of ever seeing her live or on TV. I only saw her when she co-hosted Met at the Movies last year. My first impression was "Wow! What an awesome woman!" So funny and down to earth. Not at all what I expected from an opera diva.

i first encountered opera through bugs bunny. i was never the same after seeing a rabbit in drag sing Wagner.
