"Sales at U.S. wholesalers increased faster than inventories during February, which may set the stage for a rebound in manufacturing in coming months."
I don't care how much so-called good news the Zionists put out, my gold is still buried under the stake I chain my pitbull to.
CR - did you contact Halo? I mean I've been running Norton 2006 for a year... run live update religiously... and it was like a switch went off last week - and not just here but at every site I comment on that runs Halo - completely locked up when I tried to post.
Somebody somewhere - either at Halo or Norton - must have tripped over a cord & pulled a plug.
Patrick, never. And that is true almost every year - thank goodness for innovation!
mp, I like Haloscan much better, but I couldn't use it for the last few days. Four hours of work, and after two discussions with friendly chaps in Bangalore, I'm good to go!
All we need is another 3 doom threads or so - anything will do - to get that hideously strong employment thread off the page. Makes my skin crawl just looking at it.
Strange ... I've been on Norton Internet Security 2006 without problems. (I like the new column format, and am very glad you kept the refreshing trees banner image.)
Thats great as it works much better on my blackberry, still the home page requires lots of scrolling as the left site column is rendered first so I have to scroll threw it to get to the main center column
By popular demand, Haloscan returns.
Best to all.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Happy Groundhog Comment Day to everyone!
CR invested a lot of hours and efforts getting the Halo problem worked out to accommodate us all.
I think this investment in an accessible and easy-to-use comment section is justified by the quality of the conversation on this blog.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it. I'd appreciate it if the trolls would stay away for 24 hours or so.
Thanks, CR.
Bravo.
Have things ever been better in the history of mankind?
Works for me... either way.

Jesus. I knew if I used the T-word that would happen.
Hey CR, can you reset the comments again?

Either of them 'fess up? Just curious.

dryfly, yes, I contacted both Norton and Haloscan. Haloscan is blameless - Norton fessed up and offered the solution - upgrade to '07.
Best Wishes.

LOL.
Me too - but the ground has to thaw first.

Well for what its worth - I HAVEN'T upgraded to '07 and I haven't added Halo as an exemption in the 'trusted sites' & it posts.
Think maybe somebody found the plug & doesn't want to talk too much about it.
Welcome back, Haloscan.
I'm sorry for all those bad things I said about you. Despite our differences, I missed you. Gimme a hug.
I just discovered that I didn't save a copy of the Battle Hymn of the Federal Reserve.
Damn. I put over ten minutes into that.
Gimme a hug.
I mean steve - halo's okay... but I wouldn't get THAT close... it might give you more than just a hug.
Now, Steve, don't get all ZWINKY on us.
All we need is another 3 doom threads or so - anything will do - to get that hideously strong employment thread off the page.
You and the traders... that's all their bitching about now, no rate cuts.
Norton just came out with a trusted sites update and it works now without update
Come on now, dryfly. Don't be shy. Give Haloscan a hug. No? Okay, a high-five?
Damn Tanta bitch slapped me and I bitched slapped her back and it's all gone..
Thanks CR,
I darn near threw my PC in the pool earlier. That's what I get for being a techno-dope.
dryfly: Looks like we may be on to a new business model for antivirus/spyware vendors here.
CR: Thanks for re-enabling Haloscan, but you are robbing me of a venue of investigating why Blogger's comment captchas won't show in my browser.
The original blogger comments are still up,
it's just that there are now no links pointing to them.
In the AHM threat 3 articles down, I posted
in the Halo comments a link to the blogger comments.
You might still have the URLs to other comment threads in your history.

Happy to be the blog haloscanned. I would be happier if I knew how to edit in bolds, italics, and hiperlinks.
¡hyperlinks!
Yaay!
As for Norton, hogs way too many resources. The free version of AVG from AVG Antivirus and Security Software - Real-time protection against viruses, spyware and malicious websites is a great piece of non-spyware freeware out there. I have installed it on 4 machines, very happy with it.
On my old machine, my brother-in-law removed my Norton and installed AVG, improved my computer performance dramatically.
Hooray for Hollywood, er, Haloscan.
As in bold, italic, and hyperlink
?
Replace the [ and ] with < and > in:
As in bold, italic, and [a href="http://westside-bubble.blogspot.com"]hyperlink[/a]?
thank you CR for your efforts, really great to have haloscan back.

Gracias. Danke. Hartelijk bedanked. Merci.
